Pond confusion? I recently bought a large pond kit. It came with a 535 gph motor and is approximately 1100 gallons. I've discovered that using that and the fountain kit does not keep my pond clean. I live in Florida so I'm really trying to reduce the algae. The more I read the more confused I become on maintaining a pond. Do I need a waterfall filter and skimmer? What size pump? Do I put the pump in the skimmer? This is just so confusing!

< class="additional-details">Additional Details 15 hours ago racer123 what are you babbling about? i love the water and everything about it. i live on a peninsula. before buying all the filters try using a uv blocker , its a liquid that turns your water blue or a lite green. also make sure that the water is constantly moving by either installing a waterfall or a fountain sprayer. plants and small fish will also help control the ph in your pond. good luck , once your done you'll love the pond.
