I want to kind of crate train my puppy while I am away at school each day. Well I am not so worried about her not pottying in there so much I just have to keep her locked up while I am at school until she is potty trained. I will only be gone for eight hours so thats how long she'll have to be in there. Yes ill put food and toys in there too. Is this pretty good even though it's for travel? I don't have much money for a crate and I think this would be good but I am not so sure. I will only have to keep her in there each day until she is potty trained. So do you think it will be good. By the way she is a shih tzu mx so shes just a teensy bit bigger than a shih tzu. < class="additional-details">Additional Details 1 day ago My parents will be paying for the vet bills but they said that ive got to figure out a way to keep her from peeing on the floor during the day and they said thye wouldnt pay for a kennel. 1 day ago I said I do not mind if she goes potty in there she just can not go on the floor. Do you think it is big enough? 1 day ago I have this one pretty small kitty cat carrier so I think I might be able to put them together so that then she could have more room and when she has to go potty she will hopefully go to one of them and then the rest of the day stay in the other. Does that sound like a good idea? Seeing as how I will be gone for eight hours and I really need to keep her in the crate? It looks like she might be able to chew through it. I recommend a wire cage, but if you don't have enough money then I guess that is fine until you can save up to buy a better one. My puppy ( a chihuahua) uses this crate :

btw, a young puppy cannot hold its bladder for 8 hours. I know that form experience, as I had to leave my puppy in the crate for that long too. They will pee in it. I recommend asking someone to let her out during the day, but if you cant, like I couldnt, make sure you let her out right away. Good Luck! =]
