Blue Ray player? To play a Blu Ray disc, would you buy a PS3 or a Blue Ray Disc player? Which is a cheaper option?

There's really no downside to going with the PS3 since it's a bluray player and a really great console. It's like buy one get one free.

Bluray won't loose the format war, HD-DVD has already lost with the defection of Warner to bluray exclusivity. HD-DVD may be used for computers (since it just doesn't want to die), but bluray will always be HD movies. I give it 4 months before hd-dvd finally bleeds out.
