Who is the British poet who drowned in a shipwreck?

Edward King (1612 to 1637) was a writer of Latin poetry. He died in a shipwreck. He was a friend of John Milton's, who was inspired to write Lycidas after the tragedy.

Percy Bysse Shelley also drowned, when he was sailing from Livorno to Lerici. His wife Mary Shelley said that the boat had never been seaworthy.
