It is below zero and my sump continues to go off what could be the problem and how do i fix it? I live in wisconsin and it is the dead of winter and my sump pump goes off all the time what is the problem and how do i fix it it is driving me crazy

Is the sump pumping water ? check and see. If it is, then it's drawing the water from the surrounding ground around your basement and pumping it out like it's suppose to do. The freezing temps are pushing the water out.
