oh and some other supernatural romance may do i like it from the girls perspective and she some how be hard to get Sherrilyn Kenyon- Dark Hunter books are a twist on vampires with Greek Mythology. Really good. Also some Were-Hunter books as well.
Kathryn Smith- Brootherhood of Blood has some religiouos references and her vampires are connected to the demon Lilith if I remember correctly
Katie MacAlister- She has some awesome contemporary vampire novels, also write a whole Otherworld series about Dragons called the Guardian Series
L.J Smith- She has a series of 4 vamipre books called The Vampire Diaries, also as a trilogy about witches and warlocks if you are interested
Christine Feehan- She has her own version with her Carpathian vampires.
