Do you have any ideas so when I potty train my pup it will not stain the wood floor PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I want to keep my puppy in a room with hard wood floors while I am away at school. Do you guys have any ideas on what to put down so the pee wont absorb in to the floor? We are in a rental home so we can not get a puppy if it is going to ruin the floors. I really want this puppy and I don't have much money to spend on the floor problem so any ideas? Please help seeing as how I've still got to convince my mom that the dog will not ruin the floor. Please help.

Your first option is to get a crate that your puppy can grow into and he/she can stay in that while you are not at home that way you will not have to worry about your puppy ruining the wood floors or you can go the pet store and buy a buch a weewee pads to put down on the floor but then you have to remember that when a puppy is left alone long enough those piddle pad will be shredded completely by the time you get home.
