Do you think that this will convince my mom to let me get a puppy HELP PLEASE!!!!!!? I have a kitty cat carrier and I am going to buy a pop up travel crate for a shih tzu sized dog. I am only not allowed to get it because my mom is scared of the whole potty thing. Also I will put the kitty cat crate and the new dog crate together so it can potty in one and sleep and eat in the other. Does that sound like a good idea to get my mom to say yes? Also I have a baby gate we could use. Do you think my mom will change her mind seeing as how we had this conversation on the phone..

< class="additional-details">Additional Details 1 day ago She's said no thousands of times and I just keep coming up with new ways to convince her I forgot to say that. well...i had this problem and i think she might have gotten you one for a surprise..anything good come up lately? good grades, good behavior? i have a shih-tzu and it is wonderful..but, dogs don't magically come potty trained..so u would have to spend LOTS of time with it...and reward it when it is good...if it pees on the floor, u need to get a crate to put it in so it is isolated. leave it in for about 10 minutes and let it out and scold it for being bad. Oh, and don't make it go to the bathroom in a crate...only cats do that..you need a big backyard with a fence. If you are responsible, your mom should get it for you. just sit her down and explain how responsible u would be. but, u have to keep that promise! hope this helps, Bri
