Lense suggestions for my canon rebel? I have a Canon EOS Rebel that came with an 18-55 mm lense, obviously by default. I'm looking to buy a new lense with incredible zoom, yet not too pricy. I want good autofocus, also, I can't just sit around forever.


please be reminded on the not too pricy part, i'm not made of money, particularly not 1,000$

Best Answer - Chosen by Ohhh My. Canon probably has at LEAST 5 or 6 great auto focus zoom lenses for under $250. Too much for ya??? Why not pick up a Tamron, Tokina, Vivitar or Sigma lens for your Rebel. I have compaired them side by side and have not found any differences in quality. Most of the so-called "off brand" lenses are 25-30% cheaper as well. I just bought the Canon rebel XSi and have 3 Sigma zoom lenses. I am VERYYYY pleased with them all. Be sure to check out the deals on e-Bay also. Good Luck
