Why do you prefer to buy a book to borrow it from the library? for me, i always borrow books from the library, it doesn't cost me anything

2. No germs from too many people
3. No late fees
4. I can build up my own library
5. If I don't like the book, then I usually sell it or give it to someone else

6. Sometimes books or dvds from the library are in bad shape and I like the newness of a book or dvd or other media
7. These days you need a membership to do anything. I like to minimize my involvement in the system. I don't need to be in one more database that has my personal info.

8. Libraries sometimes have outdated books. They don't always get the revised editions which sometimes add more pages, chapters, resources, etc.
9. Its my preference. People don't have to get it or like it.
10. I like knowing that something belongs to just me.
