I'm really bad at math with decimals, can someone help me? I owe the IRS $3713.46, to pay this by credit card they charge a 2.49% fee of the total amount. I can't figure this out, I mean I think I can, but I dont want to be wrong (they dont tell me how much it is the just say 2.49%). Is this approximately $92.00 more? Thanks

yes it is $92.47

in case you don't know all you have to do is move the decimal place two to the left so 2.49% = .0249
then you take that multiplied by your amount and the answer is how much they're charging
